Teen Aikido
Confidence. Discipline. Leadership.
The teenage years are a time of tremendous growth, challenge, and opportunity. Our Teen Aikido program is designed to help students develop confidence, self-discipline, leadership skills, and practical self-defense abilities in a supportive and respectful environment.
Unlike competitive sports, Aikido encourages cooperation rather than rivalry. Students learn how to remain calm under pressure, resolve conflict effectively, and develop the physical and mental resilience needed to succeed both on and off the mat.
Training includes:
Practical self-defense techniques
Falling and tumbling skills
Fitness, balance, and coordination
Traditional Aiki Jo and Bokken training
Leadership and personal responsibility
Focus, discipline, and confidence building
Teen students train within our adult curriculum and follow the same testing requirements as adult students. This provides a clear path for continued growth and advancement while allowing teens to train alongside dedicated practitioners of all ages.
Who May Participate
The Teen Aikido program is open to students ages 13–17.
No previous martial arts experience is required. New students are welcome at any time.
